The Cannabis Hall of Fame®
The Cannabis Hall of Fame® will be exhibited for the first time inside CANNABITION, Las Vegas’ first 13k sq. ft. large-scale immersive cannabis experience located inside Planet 13 Las Vegas and expected to open in early 2024.
The Cannabis Hall of Fame® (originally known as "The Marijuana Hall of Fame" which is a federally registered government trademark) was established in 2018 based on seven pillars represented by the seven leaves of the cannabis plant: origin, history, advocacy, culture, research and development, and industry impact. After countless interviews and data collection, forty-two inductees have been grandfathered into the Cannabis Hall of Fame®. These pioneers, advocates, cultivators, cannabis thought-leaders, historians, physicians, state legislators, countries politicians, media executives, artists, influencers, and other mainstream media earned the most induction committee votes. "It is important to reflect on who we are and how we plan to educate the public on the medical benefits of the cannabis plant and the commercial and industrial uses of the hemp plant, to change the narrative, erase the stigma and decades of incarcerations, mainly of Black and Brown people," said founder and Chairman Emeritus, Vincent E. Norment.
