Trop Cherry Live Rosin Review

I have been working as a hash hole roller for the past year and I will get samples from time to time. During my time at my last company, I was graciously given a bit of rosin by a rep of Master Makers. On March 10, 2024, I reviewed their Trop Cherry Cold Cure Live Rosin which is in my top ten concentrates now.

I have tried Trop Cherry flower before and was looking forward to tasting the rosin form. It’s been over a year since I smoked the flower form of this cultivar and I can still remember the sweet fruity taste and aroma from that flower.
Trop Cherry Live Rosin by Master Makers
When I opened the little jar, I sniffed a mixture of tropical fruit, herbal and sour. The fruit was more akin to papaya and mango while the herbal leaned towards oregano. The sour note was leaning more tart like lemon zest.
Trop Cherry displayed a smooth buttery texture that was slightly waxy. This rosin had a light yellow banana color that reminded me of fresh banana pudding. When I took a hit from my Puffco Peak, the flavor was mainly tropical fruit that had a combination of papaya and mango. There was also a slight herbal, earthy taste at the end as well. For the sour note, it had a slight tartness similar to lemon zest which was more at the bottom of this flavor profile. The flavor overall for this rosin was more prominent and flavorful than what I usually have. (I take a dab a couple of times a week or so.)
This was quite tasty and I could still taste it on my tongue for at least 15 minutes. I was quite impressed with the lasting taste of it as I don’t usually experience that from concentrates. I have been smoking a bit more rosin in the past year due to my work and I have enjoyed trying new ones with this one definitely being a favorite for me.
The Effects of Master Maker’s Trop Cherry Live Rosin
Within a minute, I felt it strongly in my head and felt like being sociable even though I was just with my husband. The forefront of my head was hit quite well by the rosin, but it wasn’t too overpowering. Physically, I was more relaxed, but it became more balanced on the comedown. The experience lasted about an hour as I had about .2g of the rosin. This is a great one to have with friends for a fun time.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience with this rosin and would definitely smoke more of this one. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can say it’s part of my top 10 concentrates that I have tried and I have tried a variety of concentrates since I got my Peak at the end of 2020.
